Gearing up for our season finale at Goodwood Revival
This weekend sees Intelligent Venue Solutions conclude its summer events season in style, returning to Goodwood Revival, the world’s largest historic motor race meeting. This magical event is the only one of its kind to be staged entirely in the nostalgic time capsule of the 1940s, 50s and 60s.
Yet its access system, using our In-Site smart wristband technology, couldn’t be more cutting edge. Using wristbands supplied by our friends at ID&C, visitors will be able to ‘leave the modern world behind’ (and rejoin it afterwards) faster than ever before.
Revival marks IVS’ fourth deployment of the system for Goodwood this summer alone, following previous visits to service their Festival Of Speed, Glorious Goodwood and the Opening Meeting. As well as significantly improving customer entry speeds and eliminating ticket fraud, the In Site system provides the event organisers with real-time reporting of crowd-flows at each entrance and enhanced control over the event.
The event brings a close to what has been a truly epic ‘Summer of Contactless‘ – a breakthrough year for Intelligent Venue Solutions and contactless technology in the live events space. Other events that have used our technology this season include The UEFA Champions League Final, The Isle Of Wight Festival, Cambridge Queens’ May Ball, Glastonbury, Cornbury, Barclaycard British Summer Time in Hyde Park, T In The Park, WOMAD, The Open Championship, The Ashes, V Festival, Weyfest, BBC Proms In The Park and several other major music festivals.
This technology is now an integral part of the fabric of the live events industry and Intelligent Venue Solutions is proud to have set the industry standard.
