Intelligent Venue Solutions are proud to announce that we have made it through to the final shortlists in four categories at this year’s Event Technology Awards.

The categories are:

Best Use of Physical Interactive Technology – for our delivery of the Isle Of Wight Festival’s Passport scheme

Best Admission & Visitor Management Technology – for our smart access control system at the Isle Of Wight Festival

Best Use of Technology at a Festival – for our smart crew accreditation and catering system at T In The Park festival

Best Use of Technology at an Exhibition / Trade Show – for our smart visitor tracking system at the Skills Show (NEC Birmingham)

With a 50 per cent increase in entries this year, IVS join nearly 100 of the event industry’s leading suppliers, agencies and technology providers have made the shortlists. The projects submitted are from all sectors of the industry and include some of the UK and Europe’s largest festivals, conferences and exhibitions as well as numerous high profile brand activations.

Paul Allott, event director of the Event Technology Awards said: “We knew that we delivered a solid first event last November but the number of award submissions and the calibre of the entrants for 2014 really confirms that the industry is behind the ETAs.

Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony and gala dinner which takes place at The Troxy in London on November 13th 2014.

Last year saw IVS win the award for Best Admission & Visitor Management Technology at the inaugural event, in honour of our work at the Goodwood Festival Of Speed.
